restringing. Having never had to do this kind of repair, any helpful hints
would be greatly appreciated.

A mirror might tell you if the holes are drilled all the way through, </font></tt><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">and if there is room, a very fine drift can drive the </span></pre><pre><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">stub out of the plate onto the soundboard, (or a magnet taped to a soundboard </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">steel). </span></pre><pre><tt><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif" size="2">2. A new hole can often be drilled 13-20 mm away and a new pin just hammered in. </font></tt></pre><pre><tt><font class="Apple-style-span" face="Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif" size="2"> 3.
