The Exams, as you know, have been formulated by<br>many dedicated, unsung, hardworking examiners. The rules of said exams have<br>been "APPROVED" by the many "Councils" through these many years of Test<br>Evolution. The ETS Committees have, through much work, trial and error and<br>much coordinated effort, come up with an exam that is to be proud of and<br>is, imo, as fair as can be, considering the ambiguity of TUNING in/of<br>itself. The reality is that getting any group of Tuners to agree on<br>something is akin to Herding Cats, imo.<G> Just coming up with a Master<br>Tuning, is, imo, a huge accomplishment. Then,...to do it many times over,<br>for all of the exams that are given, on a yearly basis, is Herculean!<br>There is nothing wrong with questioning our exam process. However, imo,<br>those who are not members of PTG, or those who have not attempted the test,<br>have no right to question something that they have no accurate knowledge<br>of!! Those of us who have taken/passed the test, have every right to<br>suggest ways of improving, (if needed), however. Such is what David Love<br>was doing. Unfortunately, such gives others, on this forum, the false idea<br>that they can disavow/besmirch/badmouth the Exam.
