Sentiment is a strange thing in relation to pianos. Your example
here is an extreme one of course. But in general, claims of
sentimental value do not stand up to the wallet test. The force of
sentimental value is seldom strong enough to open the wallet
regularly through the years to get the piano tuned, or repaired or
regulated when those things are needed. <br>
<br>
People only have a sentimental idea they they are sentimental
about the piano! Actually, they are pretty hard-headed! Sentiment
goes out the window when money is mentioned.<br>
