FWIW, yes, some tuning pins have less torque than I would like,
but that doesn't mean that they spin on their own.....<br>

generally the pins had less torque than I would like, but I did
not measure the torque. Two or three were loose enough to
"instantaneously" move back a substantial amount when I put the
lever on them. I hammered them further in and they gripped.<br>

With regard to "IMHO, either the pin turns on it's own or it
doesn't.". What timescale and amount of degrees or fractions of a
degree are you talking about for the turning (if we are to be in
measuring mode)? Are you talking about a hundredth of a degree in
six months, or 30 degrees in a quarter of a second?<br>
