It works, but they had mentioned that the tool was modified.</div><div>At a quick glance i can't see an easy way of modifying it to make the jaws parallel, so does anyone have any suggestions.</div><div>I thought on heating the handles to see if they will bend, but the composition is made for heat, so didn't soften. I didn't want to apply too much heat so as to break it.</div><div>If I could get the ceramic heater plates off, I could shim one side. Removal doesn't seem straight forward.</div><div>In my younger days, I would have it figured out by now.
