</div></div></blockquote><div><br>I've also had feedback about the 4th note being among the worst as well, and I might head that direction just to be able to say I "improved" it. But after a good half-hour of discussing, playing, and listening with the customer, I believe I've narrowed it down to a quality of sound in that 7th and 8th notes on the recording that he has consistently identified. The others aren't objectionable to him, even though he may appreciate them being cleaned up at some date.<br>
<br>Of my local techs who have responded so far believing they heard something in my recording on those two notes, one has suggested longitudinal waves, another has suggested a ringing plate. Another didn't think the 7th and 8th notes were out of the ordinary, as David said.<br>
<br>And there's just so much going on sound-wise in the bass.<br><br></div></div>
