                                        <td valign="top" style="font:inherit;">As the title says - just strictly an FYI on Win 8 .............not telling you want to do or not do !!!!!<BR><BR>Who's ready to convert their laptop and/or desktop ?<BR><BR>For those that have not kept up with the info:<BR><BR>Windows 8 is dedicated to the tablets and touch screen.<BR><BR>The "windows desktop" as you know it will be completely gone - no more Start button; no more Start menu; no more "windowing"; no more multi-monitors - looks just like an iPad, iPhone, etc.<BR><BR>Based on the internet, so far, basically nothing from previous versions is compatible with Win 8 - so you will have to re-buy everything. Also, so far, from my readings, a lot of the underlying formats of the data files have changed and will - not - convert (Office, Outlook, etc).<BR><BR>I have heard that there is a hidden switch the bring back a "sort of" Start button - but nothing like you are used
