I usually take an hour for a complete tuning, but after an hour I was about to push it through the door and down the hill. I fought that damn thing for 2 hours. I thought it was me, but I happen to talk to another tuner who had tuned that piano earlier, and he had the same problem. </font></div>

four hours to get it where I could walk away. When I pulled up the
treble (not too much), it went way sharp afterwards. I went over it
again to lower the pitch and it went way flat. Pulled up...crept sharp
but not as much. After the third or fourth pass thru the treble, the
piano was good enough. I charged for the time. Never heard back from
them...problem solved.
Maybe that's why it was donated.
