<head><style>body{font-size:10pt;font-family:arial,sans-serif;background-color:#ffffff;color:black;}p{margin:0px;}</style></head><body>Hi David Love, I'll "weigh in" on this by saying that I wouldn't draw meaningful conclusions from a single sample calculation of Strike Weight Ratio because the interpretation of up down weight motion can be faulty and/or the directionality of friction can create error in the balance weight calculation. This is why we take multiple samples when determining SWR levels for calculating Front Weight Specifications. Also for determining Distance Ratios I prefer direct measurement methods such as the Erwin/Spurlock jig or simply strapping a center pin onto the strike point of the hammer as a pin point for accurately measuring key to hammer movement. As for up/down/front wt I use a measuring point 13mm in from the front top surface of the key when measuring distance ratios as well.  Multiple samples is important here as well.
