It's probable that the 22 center pin was used because the birdseye was already cracked. Susan Richard W. I happened to have the proper jack on hand, so I was able to replace the jack and that worked nicely, but was ever glad I had the spare jack with me, as I was over 50 mi. from home. So, yes, you never know. If there is a neat fix for this besides replacing the jack, I'd be all ears! Richard W.
