You can administer users, moderation, and some other details about the email that gets sent out. But we do not control the underlying database, that is a Google function, and is closely tied to how they are able to provide the service as well as the web interface.<br>
<br></div><div>It is true that if you want complete control of everything related to the list, you're going to need your own server and manage it yourself. I don't believe this is necessary for the proper existence of the pianotech community, but others may disagree.<br>
