Hi Terry,<div>There are a few areas the clatter may be coming from. It sure doesn't sound like you've pulled the action and tightened all the wippen flange screws, but that could be part of the problem.</div><div>The backrail cloth in Baldwin spinets is usually quite narrow, and dense, so that will emphasize any tendency to clatter. And the grommets don't have to be crumbling before they get noisy.</div>
