cure. There is a cross-linking of the polyvinyl acetate (PVA) =
during the
drying/curing process. This isn't true of all white and yellow =
glues, of
course -- mostly the water-resistant ones, as I understand it. I =
don't
know what triggers this process or how it is catalyzed. It might =
be
triggered through evaporation -- or possibly by exposure to oxygen or =
carbon
dioxide. Dunno. Anyway, it's a chemical =
reaction.</FONT></DIV>

anyway) term for the chemical reaction that occurrs with =
epoxy is
"cure". But perhpaps that is antics with semantics. However, if I am =
not
mistaken, glue, such as yellow woodworking glue, does not "set" or =
"cure" or
"dry" by a chemical reaction, but rather simply the loss of water - it =
truly
"dries". That is indeed a chemical process, but not a chemical =
reaction. Am I

thought patterns regarding Epoxy. The damned stuff does not "DRY" it =
sets,
(by chemical reaction). Glue "sets" by drying. (which is another =
type of
chemical reaction) The most problems, encountered, with Epoxy, is =
thinking
