surprised that
those things are still being marketed. I've never seen one that was =
actually
working. Mostly, I've seen them on junk pianos which were made worse by
unskilled repair techniques. I especially like the ones with the big =
spikes on
'em. What are you supposed to do, pound them into the bridge with a =
hammer?

Looks like a way of bypassing the use of bridge pins really. Anybody =
