Seeing the picture of winter fingers that were dry, cracked and split reminded me of a product that I use to eliminate those problems. After 30 years in the auto repair business amidst gas, oil and solvents, and trying everything from Vaseline Intensive Care to Bag Balm, the best I came across was Cortisone cream. It can be found in any drugstore but Walmart has the Equate brand which is about half the price of others. Rub into hands especially fingers every evening and you will see healing after 2 applications. After one week, fingers will be almost completely free of the above mentioned problems.
