I've found that Quiktite super glue, made by Loctite, has always worked very well for me. It's water-thin. I buy small 5 gram plastic bottles of it at local hardware stores. The nozzle is narrow, which makes it easy to use in tight places, and the cap works quite well to keep it from clogging. I keep a bottle in my kit, and another in the box with ivory replacements. A bottle will often last me several months. Usually I'll only have a small amount left when it starts to thicken up. Susan </BLOCKQUOTE> I have also had very good results with Mohawk (Star Chemical) brand CA glues.  Long shelf life, consistent results when used in the proper situations.  Pricing is also very competitive.  Someone else also mentioned using the medium to glue on ivories or keytops.  I'm not sure what technique they use but I have never had very good long term results with that application and use it only in emergencies.  A lot of the tops I have reglued come loose in a relatively short time.  I attribute it to the difference in expansion and contraction rate from humidity changes between the ivory or plastic and the wood, and the low shear strength of the glue.  Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
