<DIV>The best suggestion I can give you is to contact Bill Spurlock and =
use his
damper method. His website is: <A

/DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>On his price list is a section where he =
sells "instructional
pamphlets" There is one for vertical damper =
replacement.
Cost is $2.50. It's value is closer to =
$250.00.
It's really underpriced. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have both replaced the same size dampers and also replaced with =
longer
dampers. Longer dampers are not always better and sometimes can =
make the
problem worse. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Bills pamphlet goes through all of the variables that you need to =
factor
in. The $2.50 cost is nothing and a few days wait is nothing =
compared to
the information in his pamphlet.</DIV>

I've agreed to replace the dampers, which are old and worn, and noticed =
