Seems to me that a vertically laminated rib would have no deformation<BR>
problems, but you would have to machine its crown, since you can't bend it<B=

in a caul.<BR>
As for strength, I don't really know. If the glue is strong, a horizontally<=

laminated one should be as strong as a vertical laminated one.<BR>
