<DIV>I have the foredom. Had it for years. The belt, =
reversible
motor, speed control and all. Haven't used it much. The =
problem is
that the belt slips off when reversing. That is guaranteed by the
design. A belt will slip to the low side of a pulley and ride to =
the high
side when turning. The pulleys need to be crowned. Even a =
six inch
belt sander is crowned in the center of the roller. I was going to =
modify
mine but I now use the turkey slicer. I've learned how to use that =
effectively. By handling the body I can favor either side or the =
strike
point. The body needs to be rotated and pushed side to side to =
clear the
fuzz or it loads the paper and clogs. I do use the paddle for =
finishing
and more so in the treble. Works for me.</DIV>
