<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2> I have recently posted, as =
an aspiring
tuner. Santa was kind enough to bring me some piano related items =
for
being a good boy. I now have towards my goal of learning, two =
items, which
I hope will start me in the right direction. I have the Arthur =
Reblitz
book, "Piano Serving, Tuning & Rebuilding. It presents two =
techniques
for setting the temperament octave, one of which is the Randy Potter
technique. Along with the book, I have downloaded and installed a =
copy of
Tunelab 97 on my laptop. I was hoping someone may be able to give =
me a
little guidance on how I may best proceed in learning the tuning =
process?
I suppose I need to just start doing it? I do have a good piano =
that is in
tune and well regulated.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2> Also, I was curious if the =
techniques laid
out in Mr. Reblitz book is a common and current procedures. I sets =
a
temperament from F - F octave, where the Potter technique seems to go =
further
and use a 10th.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Thank you for any input, and once =
again......Happy
Holidays.</FONT></DIV>
