Is having a brass rail made really an option? I had Schaff make one for me years ago and the pinning slots were SO not machined straight that the traveling was a nightmare of rare proportions. They were unusable. Anybody out there use this product wtihout these type od problems?<BR>

I, when using repair clips, have been tempted to use the repair<BR>
flanges. They look like they would do a much better job.<BR>
The downside is, that you would have to remove the full section, and<BR>
cut out the bad notes. This would be much more labour intensive.<BR>
There was a class given, in Dearborn, in 1996, about annealing the<BR>
brass, it was given by a William J. Belamut. It had a one page<BR>
handout, which I could e-mail, if that is allowed.<BR>
If too many are gone, I would have a new section made my Schaff.<BR>
