tudy done by the MTNA. The comparison was between all new pianos of an=
y quality and used pianos of 30 years or older. The findings pointed t=
o a greater rate of success for students who started out on presumably funct=
ional instruments. Of course that was the result that they were lookin=
g for so that they could subsequently use that claim in advertising and sale=
