it can't have other stuff on the table when I use it. I am very careful and
count all the fingers before I hit the on button & also the usual
mental gymnastics about safety. I just bought a safety device for feeding st=
ock
thru when ripping ribs etc from larger pieces which are anti kick

problem with disabling any kind of "safety" equipment (much of which, <BR>=

seems to me, introduces as much chance for injury as it protects <BR>again=

is that one can wind up uninsured. That is, if you take off <BR>and/=
or
disable such a system; and you (or, worse, someone else) is injured, <BR>y=
our
insurance company can call foul, and legally refuse to pay...in CA, at
<BR>least, your actions might be considered fraud, and themselves be
criminally <BR>actionable.
