Venezuela to US and also internaly. I was carying with me the piano =
tools, They
will not allow you the piano tools, not only knives, but nothing which =

resembles it, that includes screwdrivers, files, anything with metal =
which could
be used as a weapon, so you should send them by cargo also the tuning =
hammer
should go on cargo, when I asked about the tuning hammer at the counter =
they
told me that depended on the security officer, but with the new =
regulations,
once you got to the boarding point if the security officer thinks that =
can be a
weapon you will be forced to loose the plane or dispose of the hammer =
which
might be more painful, </FONT></DIV>

this week
and I want to be sure to <BR>be prepared. There have been =
discussions
about security on this list <BR>and I have a good idea what to expect =
but I am
interested in getting <BR>any additional advice.<BR><BR>I will be =
checking my
tool kit of course. I guess I will remove any <BR>knives or =
razor blades
that may be lurking in there. I also will be <BR>carrying on my =
lap top
computer. I understand that they will ask me <BR>to have it on =
when I go
through security.<BR><BR>Any other advice that any recent travelers =

add? This is a very <BR>important gig I am going to and loosing =
my kit
