I'll let God be that judge = ! I truly believe the problems and solutions you all  offered are right = on and affective But the root problem is that since the intro. of electric = instruments into the church  worship setting Pianists have responded by playing = at louder and more physical levels.  I know you all know this .It's an = obvious Duh Dale but even with all the solutions the problem may not go = away .The response to anyone wanting a permanent fix is that as long as the = piano is being played beyond it's design parameters  and physical = limitations I (you) can not guarantee  that kind of assurance.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>That being said I have performed all = the recommened cures.   My best sucesses have come from using the Isaac = hammer to defeat the  metal fatigue factor or other such softer types of = hammers and G.C. bass strings which are very well scaled.That followed with sage = advice to the music meister of said institution I.E. YOU MUST USE ADEQUATE MIKES = AND MONITORS AND MAYBE EVEN BAN CERTAIN INFAMOUS PIANO THUMPERS FROM THE = KEYBOARD( said in a very serious and athoratative way)  Mostly I feel a = sadness that the era of piano music and piano led hymn singing in the church may be = drawing to a close.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial = size=2>        My success rate has been good with the above cures , about 90% with = only one major offender excommunicated from our fold for loud pedal technique = abuse.You know mashed down to the floor no matter what aaaahhhhhhhh  watch = out flying missile!!!!!!!!!!</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>    Dale the missel Killer         </FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML>
