Is she looking to sell? I've got a client who wants a baby G real
bad but can't afford a new one. [Casting call here.] If the case is
half-decent, and it can be played OK, she'll piece-meal the work out to
me to improve it.

She would be thinking of KC pickup, which means at a store or other
commercial location. Doorstep to doorstep delivery would be too
expensive.

A customer wishes to have me forward to her an appraisal for her 1835
chickering baby grand. Several years ago, it had been restrung and
new dampers put on it. I have been tuning it for several years ( 5
tunings…one every 6 months) . It plays…umm…ok.. and the case is =
in
good, but not excellent, condition.
Any input from you as to what sort of appraisal price might be
appropriate?
