The virtual capstan idea actually could cost less then a couple thousand dollars to install and still leave the installing technician a handy profit margin. I have to reserve comment as to performance comparisons.  But I will know soon enough. Certainly the Fazioli will provide for a more convienient form of changing the touchweight, tho my own idea is just as functional. Again... whether the price difference is worth that convienience is another thing. I believe there are some liscensed installers in the US... Rick Baldersin perhaps is one. And no doubt they will sell a few of these... very sexy system indeed. And Petrof is launching their own version of this concept I understand... also very expensive. My motivation in working with the Virtual Capstan idea, is to provide the same basic functionality for a price tag most technicians can get involved in if they choose too.  The Fazioli system costs somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 grand.
