users, that they are frought with problems; in fact I'm told that one user
was SO frustrated with his SAT III that he literally threw it in the trash
can!!
I currently own a SAT II and have been very happy with its performance, so
before i totally commit to buying the new III i wanted to ask actual users
from our esteemed list! thanks.
There are two main differences between the II and the III. One is size, the
other is the automatic note switch. I know there are many other features of
the III, like the historic temperaments stored in its memory, and the tuning
exam, but I have not used those. I have not had any problems with it, with
the exception that in the first octave and last octave the automatic note
feature doesn't always work. But it's certainly not something for which I
would throw the thing in the trash.
