<HTML><FONT FACE=arial,helvetica><FONT SIZE=2 FAMILY="SANSSERIF" FACE="Arial" LANG="0">Today while replacing a treble string, the cut end hit me in the eye. I was wearing glasses but the end still managed to cut a 1" gash in my lower eyelid. About a 16th higher would have dug into the eyeball....but it didn't. I guess God protects his foolish.<BR>

As I mentioned before I was wearing small reading glasses. <BR>
<BR>
Next time I fool around with piano wire I will wear full goggles over the glasses.<BR>

I have been doing this work for over 15 years and have always tried to be careful. So don't say it can't happen to you. Wear your eye protection.<BR>
