grand the anticipation starts. When I find out that the serial =

begins with a zero, I start panting softly. When I find hammers blocking =

salivating. And when the customer tells me that the last tech found the =
same
problem previously and kept having to "adjust something in there" =

no, get your mind out of the gutter - my eyes start rolling over and
spinning like a slot machine with dollar signs!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=3>End result: replace brackets - they pay you and
<U>they</U> seek reimbursement from YC - and do a full regulation - =
plus
tuning, etc. - usually ends up well over a grand for a bunch of very fun =
work!
No doubt about it, YC expanding brackets are an =
opportunity!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=3>I find that if you explain the situation thoroughly =
to the
customer, and what the other tech was doing, and that most new pianos =
will need
a regulation after a few years of break-in anyway, they are usually very =
appreciative that you have finally gotten to the bottom of the cause of =
the
troubles they have been having with that darn piano for so many
