<BR>Yesterday, January 20, 2001, Baoli Liu who is from China but who has been
<BR>studying piano technology in the United States and presently at the
<BR>University of Wisconsin-Madison under the music department's technician, Joel
<BR>Jones RPT, passed the PTG RPT Tuning Exam. He passed easily with very high
<BR>scores, including perfect scores in Pitch, Unisons and Treble. All other
<BR>scores were very high. He only missed qualifying as an Examiner Trainee by
<BR>the smallest possible margin.
<BR>
<BR>Baoli has yet to pass the Technical Exam but is planning to do so within the
<BR>next few months. Baoli was easy to work with having an affable personality
<BR>yet is attentive to details and can concentrate well on his task. He knew
<BR>the details and terminology, not requiring any special help or explanation.
<BR>His command of the English language is extraordinarily good.
<BR>
<BR>Let's all congratulate him on his fine accomplishment!
