describe the
modification to the "voice-grips" pliers. I use the (# 4 or # 5) =
needle
nose pliers. It is necessary to grind the jaws of the pliers so they can =
grip
the hammer felt where you want to but not crush the entire hammer. =
Remove some
metal on the interior of the jaws so they are shaped more like a pincher =
than a
flat plier. I've seen someone acheive the same effect by welding some =
ball
bearings to the inner tips of the pliers. I have a hand out from a class =
given
by Bill Spurlock. It shows the mod to the tool and descibes the =
procedure. I'd
