Hello list,

In my haste, while typing my first email to the list regarding the aforementioned Henry F. Miller Grand, I inadvertently said that the repetition lever/spring configuration (utilizing the "hook & loop") was of the "old style". What i MEANT to say was that it was the "alternative" to the Steinway style, where the spring fits in a slot UNDER the rep. lever. Both types are seen in modern pianos, obviously. I was still thinking about the "rocker" type adjustment, for regulating hammer blow, as well as raising the shanks OFF the rail, (which IS "old style) vs the modern capstan. My bad! (don't you just HATE that expression?)

Terry Peterson
