Hello Dale. I use the Verituner and previously =
used an
SAT 3. Yes the Verituner is larger than the SAT 3 - about the same =
footprint as the SAT 2 if my memory serves me correctly - a bit =
heavier
though. While smaller is always an advantage, I do not find the =
size of
the VT to ever be a problem. Like the Steinway tech told me about =
the
dinging noise in my new Steinway - "you just get used to =
it".

I have never had any trouble easily seeing the =
display
on the VT. You can get a reflection sometimes if you are sitting =
opposite
a bright window, but you just angle the VT a little and the =
problem goes
away. I find it to be no trouble.

IMHO, if you like =
listening to
your octaves and manually setting your stretch in the various =
areas of the
scale each time you tune a piano - the little powerhouse SAT 3 is =
hard to
beat - it is so simple and a pure pleasure to use. If you like to =
just
shift into autopilot (but of course, still have complete control =
over
stretch settings, etc.) and produce fantabulous tuning time after =
time on
any piano, go with the VT. And of course the VT has all sort of =
other
bells and whistles.

I was in love with my SAT 3, but I'm also in =
