Check the lead weights in the keys, if there are none or only a couple, the= n weights could be part of your answer....but easy does it as Brian and Bill= have already said. 10g is not much to get rid of, have you done everything to reduce friction?= Teflon pwder on the knuckles, let-off buttons, whippen heels and key bushin= gs can go a long way. Protek on ALL centre pins in the hammer and whippen an= d teflon or graphite (I use a 4B pencil) at the contact between the repetiti= on spring and the repetition lever. I did all that I learned and read but wasn't possible to obt= ain 52 g on the 1st section, 50 g on the 2nd section and 48 g on the 3rd and= 4th section and this is the problem that I want to know. ( these are manufa= cturer measurements) The difference is about +10 g on each section. What to do? I think that the only way would be to put leads on the keys.= Is this correct? To use the piano with + 10g of touch weight is good?<= BR> If isn't possible to obtain the manufacturer measurements wh= at are the good touch weight?
