don't use a micrometer at all. I carry a stainless steel dial caliper =
which
reads in thousands. It's quicker, and I use it for more than just wire, =
as it
can be used as a depth gauge, and an inside diameter gauge too. Mine =
cost me $27
US. One of the best tools I regularly use.</FONT></DIV>
