FYI, I was told by the Steinway C&A tech in London that Renner has been producing slightly harder hammers in recent years to accommodate the ears of a generation of pianists who have grown up on conservatories filled with Asian pianos. Still, the most versatile hammers when it comes to creating a range of tone do seem to be Renners....<BR>
