<HTML>Paul, One of my clients has a G5.  I agree, the bass wasn't bad at all. &= nbsp;The regulation was atrocious, however.  Hammer 88 was stuck on ham= mer 87, so when I pulled the action, guess what happened....:-)  Snap..= .   But all the parts were there(after I ordered a new hammer and shank). &n= bsp;I think it's a deal for the price you're paying.  The age you've su= ggested is about where I'd have put the one that I worked on. This particular Samick grand is a model G-5 A.  Does anyone know wh= at the "A" signifies?  G-5 is cast into the plate; the A is stamped on. &n= bsp;I tried searching the ptg archives and the whole Internet, but couldn't find anything about this model.  Perhaps it was only made for a few year= s. The serial number is 832474.  I don't have a Pierce Atlas yet, so i= f someone could please look it up and let me know the date of manufacture, I'd appreciate it.  The seller said the piano was eleven years old, but= I'd like to confirm this.</BLOCKQUOTE> </HTML>
