appartements can
often have quick and drastic changes in humidity level. =
I just
had this case of a 7ft 8in Bechstein grand, placed in a very small =
appartement,
just next to a radiator. In the first week of the winter, the =
piano lost
as much as 3 mm key depth (and gained up to 4 cracks in the =
soundboard).
The owner is now controling more seriously the climate in his room and =
in the
instrument.</FONT></DIV>

do with
a Howard #550 (Kawai) Ser#<BR>2905365.<BR>They key frame is warped =
upwards at
the center of the front rail. I am not<BR>sure if the balance area or =
the back
part of the4 frame is also warped. Did<BR>not get the chance to look =
at it;
and could not really figure out how to do<BR>it in a small
