<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I've been rethinking my =
"rant".<G> Upon
further investigation, I've learned the REAL story of the piano that got =
me so
worked up. It turns out that the piano was purchased from some =
"Wholesaler" off
the Net! The piano was shipped to the client in it's crate. (Which tells =
me it
had not been touched by anyone prior to my Associates initial contact.) =
Yikes!
It appears to me that the problem is truly not with the piano, so much, =
as with
the method of sales. What we encountered was a piano straight from the =
factory.
If this piano had been routed through a Dealer, it is likely that most =
of the
problems would have been taken care of prior to the sale. Of course, I'm =
assuming a lot, but have to keep a positive perspective regarding the =
ability of
the dealers to properly prep a piano.<G> </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>There are still things that I =
encountered that make
me think that the piano, in question, will be somewhat substandard in =
it's life.
That life span will likely be fairly short compared to the PSO's from =
the
American manufacturers of the 50's, 60's.........<G> IMO, that's =
probably
a good thing.<G></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>So, for those that got really ripped at =
me, for
ranting about the quality of Chinese pianos, I =
say....Sorry.</FONT></DIV>
