Checked them thar dampers and found that they had been installed about 1/16" too high on the damper wires! Got out my handy-dandy center pin nippers and cut off the top/left corner, sanded and all was well.</STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG>While I was sufacing the hammers, in the shop, I noted that there were symetrical "slices" in the underside of the hammers, in the middle section. I went: Hmmm?, and dismissed it as some anomoly from the factory and went on my merry way.
