Backrail cloth which is glued at the rear of the felt will cause noise
upon key return. Glue along the front edge leaving the back free,<br>
shims can be place under that edge.<br>

Even on grand where the backrail felt has been glued front & rear
over an underfelt, slice the rear glue joint and there will be<br>
a slight reduction in key noise.</html>
