<DIV><FONT size=2>Does anyone besides me think that Robot Wars and =
Battle Bots
is really cool? I've been watching for quite a while now. =
For those
that aren't familiar it is a show where guys build radio controlled =
robots
equipped with lethal killing weapons, (rotating blades, chain saws, =
hammers,
flippers, spikes, etc), and then go to battle with each other in an =
arena.
Some of these things weigh up to 600 pounds and are packed with serious
power. Many of them can take a major beating. There are =
timed
rounds and judges keep score on damage. There are hazards =
such as
retracting blades and spikes from the floor, flames, and other fun =
stuff.
Winners move on to the next level and whoever is left standing at the =
end of the
season wins the prestigious trophy for the best senseless destruction
machine. Pretty cool huh? These shows air on TNN and Comedy

<DIV><FONT size=2>Anyway, Robot Wars recently added a new feature to =
their arena
hazards. They now occasionally drop heavy objects from the =
Ceiling.
I was watching an episode a few days ago and the dropped an old 1970's =
era
Wurlitzer organ onto a bot. The thing smashed to pieces upon =
impact.
The bot it landed on, (named Snuckems), was already pretty well =
demolished
anyway and was billowing out smoke from internally. =
The Wurlitzer
however pretty much finished the job.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>Finally, a practical use for all those worthless =
organs
dealers keep stockpiling in storage!</FONT></DIV>
