There's a heck of a story there, from about 12 years ago, with the end result being the loss of about 600 verts. Ozone is NOT recommended. Ozone is an oxidant and can start to degrade materials. Usually it's rubber which fares the worst. Those you name are much more hardy and won't be bothered by the ozone as much. I think if you use ozone moderately it would work good for you. I know others are doing this as well. The best thing is to experiment and see what works best for you.
