There are others posters,(I can think of several, such as Birkett, Coleman, Stanwood most times, etc.)that I read, no matter what the subject heading is.    Ed: You are sure are hitting it on the head with this one.  I have become so tired of all the waste on this list that I hardly spend more than 1 minute perusing and then deleting about 99% of all the junk that now dwells here.   This has been a rather recent trend whereby individuals saw a great forum for their own individual brand of "humor", cleverness, and other non-piano related debris.  I can remember times not too long ago (I have been a list member for about 3 years) when the list abounded with worthy discussions, observations and questions.   It seems to me there are Chat forums out there that many persons clogging up this once-wonderful list could join and chit-chat to their heart's desire.
