Topics to be presented are: Tuning Tips from Pitch Raising to Concert Work. Whether raising pitch, or tu= ning for a concert, whether you are tuning by ear, or using the latest elect= ronic tuning device, this session will be a comprehensive explanation and de= monstration of tuning and voicing techniques. Included in the class will be = a handout of 5 different temperaments. Psychological Troubleshooting.  Making repairs on a piano are not limit= ed to the piano. Sometimes the problem is with the customer. Lean how to wor= k with customers, and handle their complaints. Preparing the Grand Action for Regulation. Before an action can be regulated= , it needs to be cleaned and prepared. Learn some of the tricks that will ma= ke it easier. Willem Blees is the piano tuner/technician for the music department at the U= niversity of Alabama, with over 25 years experience, and has taught at a num= erous seminars and conventions over the past 20 years.
