The patent reads May 27,1884, Oct. 19, 1886. I can't = locate a serial number.  It measures approximately six feet long. It is = quite like the Kroeger Gildemeester (New York) shown at <A href="http://directcon.net/astokes/pianos/pic.htm">http://directcon.net= /astokes/pianos/pic.htm</A>. I am curious about the history of the company. Also, I am interested in determining its value. I would appreciate any information that you might = give me.
