<HTML>Hello list, I just found out today that the explosion in the building on west 19th St. was where NYPC is located.  I talked to Leopold Holder, the owner, and he said as far as he knows, the 7th floor was not extensively damaged.  He said he has not been allowed back in the building and has had to take the word of the fire marshall.  The freight elevator is destroyed so no way out for pianos there.  It must have been very disturbing to go through this especially in the wake of 9/11.  Any one with an instrument there will have to be patient till this gets resolved.
