This thread really should move over to ptg-l, but
since it hasn't, I've an observation or two. Seems that everyone thinks
they spend money for convention. Nope. You <b>invest </b>money for
convention. Also, if you're broke , then you need to be there. I realize
that there are circumstances that will prevent folks from attending.
Stuff happens. But.... if you have a situation that can be cured with
money, you don't really have a situation.... you just have a lack of
money. That.... can be fixed.<br><br>
Just my opinion, of course, no offense intended. I hope to see all youse
characters dere!<br><br>

As I said earlier, and not picking on you personally (as others have
echoed your sentiment), maybe you(all) should raise your

Doing some simple math:<br><br>
If you put away only 3 tunings per month for a year and only charge $50
per tuning, that's 36 tunings, or...<br><br>

$1800 smackeroonies will get you registration, non-shared hotel room,
food and round-trip air fare.<br><br>
You say you charge $75? That would be $2700. You could fly
first class.<br><br>
Still not enough for a week of skills (and future revenue)

Still think it's out of reach?<br><br>
The only trick is PAY YOURSELF FIRST!! Put that money safely away
