<HTML>List, I had the pleasure of tuning a Hamburg S and S B the other day.  Wh= at a pleasure(especially in comparison to some of the beater grands I get to= work on).  A wonderfully clear tone throughout.  While a minor re= gulation will be necessary in the not too distant future, the action offers = high levels of power and control. I know that the design in these is essentially the same is in the Americ= an version, but the final product is far more refined.  They are not at= all the same animal.  I know that German spruce is used in the soundbo= ard, but what about the other materials?  Anybody familiar with the dif= ferences?  I didn't have a chance to pull the action, but I was curious= about that as well:  Steinway or Renner?
